Is it a ghost? No. HCLF attempts a takeover.

The HCLF is developing hologram technology that will allow cats to appear in various places within their residences in order to trick the humans, which in turn will assist in their takeover of the human race. But what the HCLF doesn't know is that the humans have captured their testing on previously installed security cameras throughout the residence.

Between the hamper and me

The hamper was right there. Just as I started forward to pick it up, the house panther stood up and stared me down, ready to pounce should I take another step. And after all, that's what he had been trained to do. I just never thought that one day he would be standing between the hamper and me. – Chris

The truth about Louis

Behind closed doors at the HCLF

President Louis the Cat listens somberly as his staff briefs him on the House Cat Liberation Front's failed attempt to overthrow the humans, which would ultimately be the organization's last. This is often attributed to the fact that a bag of Whisker Lickin's was opened during the meeting, putting President Louis and his cat staff into a feeding frenzy and effectively dismantling the HCLF in the process.
