Indoor Lynx

"There were reliable reports from several local woodsmen that the indoor lynx had been using a particular game trail in the area for hunting. Determined to finally capture this elusive creature on film, I quickly set up a blind underneath an end table after noting that it sat directly across from a decorative tree the the lynx was known to occasionally attempt to climb. After approximately 20 minutes, I heard a faint meow from somewhere off to my left. Suddenly, the indoor lynx came trotting up to my location to investigate the encampment, staying in my field of view just long enough for me to snap a quick picture of its face. And with that, it vanished as quickly as it had appeared, seeking cover on the other side of a nearby sofa. That was the last I saw of the creature for quite some time, until I opened a can of Fancy Feast several hours later." — Chris P.
